Moving out soon? Please give us notice before you move out so we have time to cancel and disconnect your service.
Remember we do not pro-rate service, so you need to cancel BEFORE your next renewal to avoid another charge. That is why we ask for 30-day notice.
Please make sure you are sending the request from the same email account where you receive monthly statements. This is the billing email account we use to communicate with you on all official business.
PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR CANCELLATION NOTICE 30 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR REQUESTED CANCELLATION DATE.
For Lansing area subscribers, if you have rental equipment, please return the equipment to our office at 4942 Dawn Avenue, East Lansing, MI 48823. We will process your cancellation after the equipment is returned.
You do not need to return the ONT mounted in your basement unless we instruct you to do so. Often times we leave this as a permanent fixture in place for future LightSpeed customers.
Subscriber may terminate service with advanced written notice, but no refunds or credits will be provided for cancellations made effective prior to the end of the current service period.
Termination notices must be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org and must include your account name, service address and desired termination date. For your protection, we will request confirmation from the billing email address kept on file. Termination notices received after 5pm or on non-business days will be considered effective on the following business day.
CANCELLATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED VIA TELEPHONE.
CANCELLATIONS MAY NOT BE RETROACTIVELY APPLIED TO AN ACCOUNT.
REMEMBER TO PROVIDE A 30-DAY NOTICE SO WE HAVE TIME TO PROCESS YOUR CANCELLATION WELL IN ADVANCE OF WHEN YOU PLAN TO VACATE YOUR PROPERTY.
